We have been learning about the tradition of lighting the Olympic torch at Olympia in Greece. In groups, we designed and made our own Olympic torches for the London Olympics.
Kingfishers are making torches next week so I will show them how you made them. I am sure it will inspire them. We will carry our torches around the school before we act out the ancient Greek Olympics. All the teacher will wear white sheets to look like the old Greek Kings!
