Transport Trip

Yesterday we went on a trip into Toulouse where we used lots of different types of transport. We went by train, tram, metro, boat, walking and coach. Our trip was the 'Entry Point' to our new topic 'From A to B' and we are so excited to learn more about travelling and transport.

IPC - Learning Unit

What did you learn last year? This is what we learnt. We painted pictures to illustrate our ideas.

 

 

Monty sent us a letter about what he wants to learn this year. It made us laugh because we've never met a mole who wants to learn to knit before! Miss Ash asked us to write back to Monty about what we would like to learn in Year 2.
These are some of our ideas:

Our IPC topic is 'A to B', which is all about transport and we are learning about forces in science lessons. So we made paper aeroplanes and explored which ones flew the furthest, the fastest and we even discovered that some could do stunts! By changing the folds on our planes we could make them fly differently.
