School is closed for a Snow Day! How much snow have you got where you live? Can you go out in the garden or on the balcony to measure how deep it is? When you have measured post a comment with the measurement. Who has the deepest snow?
I measured 5.6 cm in my garden.
The first one was 5cm,2nd one was 5cm too and the 3rd one too but the 4th one was 6c.From MARIA
ReplyDeleteWell done for measuring, Maria. Are the four measurements from four different places? or at different times of the day? Perhaps it is still snowing where you are...
ReplyDeleteMiss Ash
In my garden it was 6 cm but the snow was very soft. How was your snow Miss Ash? Cristina
ReplyDeleteHi Cristina,
ReplyDeleteYour snow was a little deeper than mine. The snow in my garden is very soft and powdery. It is very beautiful but not sticky enough for making good snowballs or snowmen. That didn't stop us trying though...
Did you make a snowman?
Miss Ash
I measured the snow with a ruler. There is 8 cm of snow. I made sand castles, I mean, snow castles. Lots of them.It was fun. I went for a walk with my slide. I hope you are having fun. Pablo
ReplyDeleteHi Pablo,
ReplyDeleteWell done for commenting and for measuring the depth of the snow. 8 cm! That's really deep. Did you go sledging? We found a great sledging slope by the river Garonne and went up and down lots of times. I like the sound of your snow castles. Perhaps you can send me a photo for the blog? I'm off to have one last play in the snow before dinner.

ReplyDeleteHi Irene,
DeleteI bet Max loved the snow. Did he do some digging?
Miss Ash
I measured my trampolin and it was five cm. The snow is going, I am sad.
ReplyDeleteGustavo
Hello Gustavo,
ReplyDeleteI agree that it's sad when the snow melts. However, it's very cold so I don't think it will melt quickly.
Miss Ash
Well, I measured them in my garden, in different places. Yes, I'm like Gustavo I don't like wen the snow melt's.And do you know if it's going to snow again. From MARIA
ReplyDeleteWe had snow in Brighton too. Some of our parents came to school early to sweep away the snow in the playground so we could all come to school today. We only had about 3-4 cms.
